She put her mark on
Stays there with silence
I took this picture when I went to Bluenote Tokyo which is a pretty famous Jazz bar in Tokyo.
It was my first time to go there, so I was pretty excited about everything, so I even ordered some glasses of laxurious rose wine to celebrate this opportunity. I saw Jamaican Jazz live and the guitar player was 80yrs old!!!!!!! The show was just amazing and when I was reminiscing my memory there, I found the idea that I might can use this picture for the assignment"Haiku it up."
Hope you enjoy my Haiku :)
Hey Mika! I've been wanting to go there! Ever since I've been in Tokyo I've been going on dates to Jazz Bars. Blue Note is the one I've been wanting to go next. I've been to "J Spot" Jazz in Shinjuku, and other great ones. So far I love this one in close to Ikebukuro station, it's only 1,000 entrance!
返信削除As for the Haiku, I love it! It makes sense the way you described the feeling of staring into the used wine glass...I can John Coltrane's Saxophone playing as I do....
Wow it so gorgeous!
返信削除I've never been that kind of place. I come to Tokyo everyday but I've never been very "nice" restaurant like you went to. Actually I'm from Yokohama so I know a lot of places including restaurants. But I think it's time to be adult and go that kind of restaurants since I'll be 20 in January.
gorgeous photo, and awesome haiku!
返信削除I really like how the atmosphere (雰囲気) of them match together.
very nice.
I really like it!
I like your haiku so much!! I think writing haiku in Japanese is seemed to be easier than English. I've never tried to write haiku in English though...anyways you successfly express the atmosphere in a few words!! Good job mika:)
返信削除Your haiku makes me want to go to a jazz bar now! It really goes with the picture.
返信削除It seems like everyone enjoyed this assignment the most.
